Nigerian passport holders generally need a visa before travel. Eligibility for an e-Visa has changed over time, so confirm your case on the official Turkish pages.
Where do I submit my application?
Through Sefa Visa in Abuja or Lagos, which describes itself as the embassy's authorised centre. Check the embassy's announcements for the latest instructions.
What if I am going to Northern Cyprus?
The embassy says that from 16 September 2026 you must first apply for a Northern Cyprus e-Visa and then for a Turkish transit visa through Sefa Visa. The e-Visa does not guarantee the transit visa.
How much does it cost and how long does it take?
Fees and processing times change, and sources disagree. Confirm the current fee and timing with Sefa Visa or the embassy, and apply early.
Can you guarantee approval or make it faster?
No. The Turkish authorities decide every application, and we cannot speed up processing. Be careful with anyone who promises either.
